Okay, so I have been wanting to visit this place called Local Press + Brew since my sophomore year in high school, and for some reason something always somehow got in the way of me actually being able to go. Over this 4-day weekend to myself, I finally drove out to Dallas with my family and we gave this little gem a visit.
It's very unique in that they have a juice bar on the right and a coffee bar on the left, and the interior is decorated with some lovely florals as well.
I've been on quite the juice binge lately and have been doing the grass shots at Jamba Juice on quite the regular, so I was eager to get my paws on their fresh juice. And let me tell you, it was GOOD.
I didn't take any photos of the actual inside just because I was spending time with my family out on the patio, and we were enjoying each other's company. However, this place is the cutest little thing, and I KNOW that I'll be returning to try their coffee real soon.
They are super plant based friendly, and I noticed that they have more alternative milk options than most other coffee shops! They have both hemp and cacao in addition to the more popular almond and soy choices!!
So a more in depth blog post on the shop itself real soon ♡
After LPB, my family and I strolled around the West End for a bit, and I had my sister Tiffany photograph my outfit for me.
I just love the way this solid black ribbed dress looks underneath my jacket, which by the way is just the most amazing color ever.
(Besides black & white, I think that muted greens and pale blues are the prettiest colors—or any pastels for that matter).
Plus, it has the most amazingly massive pockets ever, which is a bonus for me.
I quite despise carrying purses around.
It’s almost March and I am excited to begin sharing some spring looks on the blog with you all!
Sidenote: I found this jacket at a random store in St. Louis that I cannot remember the name of.
It was definitely not a clothing store in particular because they sold candles and couches also; it had a little bit of everything in there actually.
Anyhow, I'm a happy camper for this $20 purchase.
